Navop is an all-in-one desktop workspace that merges a database client, a terminal and remote-access suite, and AI tooling into a single native application. It is written in Rust on top of the GPUI framework, so its interface is GPU-accelerated and runs cross-platform with light, dark and system themes, importable theme files, accent colors and adjustable window opacity. The database side ships with built-in drivers for ClickHouse, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, DuckDB, SQL Server and Oracle, while extension drivers add Dameng DM, KingbaseES, GBase 8s, OceanBase, openGauss, Apache IoTDB and Oscar. Inside a connection you can browse database objects, write and run SQL with execution plans, import and export data, compare schemas and data between environments, draw ER diagrams, keep persistent SQL history, and edit stored procedures and functions. Connections can be routed through a proxy or an SSH tunnel, and Redis and MongoDB get their own dedicated interfaces. The operations side covers SSH and local terminals with split panes, quick commands, broadcast input, session lock, recording and replay and session logs, plus Telnet and serial links. File work is handled over SFTP with uploads, downloads, search, favorites, remote editing, drag-and-drop and ZMODEM, and there is local, remote and dynamic SOCKS port forwarding, X11 forwarding, host-key change warnings, SecureCRT session import, server monitoring, and remote desktop over RDP and VNC. AI features generate and explain SQL, analyze data, build charts and assist in the terminal; external agents such as Codex, Claude Code and OpenCode connect over ACP, and an MCP server can expose selected tools to other clients under a chosen permission profile. An extension marketplace adds further drivers, renderers and importers.
